What is Vestiges?
Vestiges is a French tabletop RPG of archaeological and cosmic fantasy. Its universe — whose threshold is the world of Sylkaen — is built upon countless vanished civilizations: exploration, discovery and mystery matter as much as combat.
Are the books physical or PDF?
All three books are sold as high-definition PDFs, with instant download after purchase — no shipping, no waiting. They are laid out like true printed rulebooks. Please note: the current editions are in French; English editions are on the way.
Is Vestiges compatible with D&D 5e?
Yes. The rules are built on the SRD 5.2.1 (CC-BY-4.0 license): everything you know from 5e works out of the box. The universe, peoples, classes, spells and creatures, however, are 100% original.
Do I need all three books to play?
No. The Player's Book is enough to create a character and play. The Game Master's Book gives the GM the world's secrets and tools, and the Bestiary adds 50 creatures. The three complement each other for a long-running campaign.
Is an adventure available?
The first official adventure is currently being written. Meanwhile, the Game Master's Book contains campaign hooks and ready-to-play locations to launch your table on the very first night.
